Blackwall Paracord Hook
This thing is a really cool gadget. However, practice makes perfect as in certain configurations cord will get in the slot and you are not releasing your item. Regardless, they will still make awesome stocking stuffers!

Works with Bankline too!
I tested this and once I figured it out, it's pretty quick to use. You can use it with paracord as well as lower priced bankline which at #36, can support 250 lbs at about $11 for about 500ft. The hook is strong and very simple to use. The structure of it allows for it to hold the load under tension but to release it once tension is released (a quick jingle can help it along). I purchased this one since the larger version wasn't available, but I imagine this smaller one can do 99% of what I would need in any case. If I need it to be bigger, I'll watch one of Brent's video about how to do it with paramax.

Really hard to rate.
On one hand it is SUPER well made. On the other hand, it works just OK. Maybe I'll need more practice, but it feels like it is too slippery and unless you get the perfect bite, it doesn't hold well. Either way it's pretty awesome, I actually ordered the blackwall carabiner

Very cool addition to my AFS collection
I'm an "Awesome For Sale" fan (especially on Kickstarter) -- Piranhas, Gravity XS, Paralinks, etc. A few times a year I need to lower loads over a balcony, and this is perfect. It's a little knacky to get the paracord engaged safely in the notches, but I'm getting the hang of it. I will probably use it more for the basic super-fast 4-point harness around the hook.
