Works perfect... love these things... I can play with them for hours and they have very practical applications also... won't leave home without one again... I would recommend making a way to attach the locking pin to the body of the hook when in grab mode to prevent loss I'm gonna try a small diameter piece of cable around one of the bolts and attach to pin through small drilled hole or e clip hope it works... other than that they are perfect
Just in case you were wondering chicks move too fast and aren't very cooperative when you try to lift them, so it never worked out. Everything else though? Awesome I am a maintenance worker that stands over manholes all day and I can't tell you how many glasses, gloves, tools, phones, parts, etc. that I have lost over the years. It was always a huge hassle to try to retrieve a wrench at the bottom of a 25 foot deep manhole. Now it is a cinch, no stress, no problem.
