XR stands for "Experimental Run". Only a short run is available. Compared to the GH 2.0, the XR is thicker and requires a heavier shackle. It also comes with a spring loaded wedge locking pin. Although it's overall thickness is greater than the stainless steel version, it's approximately 25% lighter. This item has not been certified or tested to bare human weight.

NOTE: "Class B" means your item may have aesthetic flaws such as scratches or discoloration. It will still function as designed.

The Gravity Hook is a cross between a mechanical claw and grappling hook. When it touches down gravity pushes the jaws open. Lifting it closes the jaws around your prize. Once the Cross Piece is added your Gravity Hook is transformed into a 4 prong grappling hook. Gravity Hook can retrieve all kinds of items from keys to sunglasses!

i bought this just in support after having seen it up on youtube, but honestly this little guy it incredible! absolutely blown away at how well it works, parts are all cut out beautifully, everything fits like a glove, the mechanism works seamlessly, doesn't catch or stick, picks up anything it can latch onto. love it!

    Best EDC Yet!

Posted by Unknown on Oct 13th 2020

At times, a grapnel is an essential item. Having carried many different types, it can be difficult to carry (or justify carrying) something like a TRG Grabber. But for many non-climbing activities, this grapnel is the ideal EDC size and weight! It is highly functional, without being unwieldy or excessively heavy. It is very easy to control and carry, and strikes a great balance that other grapnels do not. Not only has this become my go-to EDC, but it is also my favorite of all gravity hooks available here. I carry it regularly, and have used it many times at work and during dayhikes. The stainless 2.0 is already a great value; but for those who like the stainless 2.0 and are considered having something lighter, it's worth it. I hope it becomes available indefinitely, and I hope to see more models available in titanium! Thank you, keep up the great work!

    Badass Hook

A little review from France ! This hook has a nice size to use it for about everything that coming up to your mind ! It will grab it easily for sure if you're good enough to lock your target. Easy to carry, you can put it in your pocket if you have some cargo pant. For me it's light enough to do this after putting it in a pouch. If you have some maxpedition pouch you can even carry it on your belt for exemple... Well I think it will serve me well ! Thanks for the fast delivery and all ! You can order eyes clothed for sure ! Sorry for my english which is not perfect yet... At least I'm trying !

Titanium xr is the really REALLY really rugged big brother of the gravity x2,and it really dwarfs little brother in thickness.(Really)The hook is smooth and light and will get good use here in Norway! This is a must have for every edc buddys out there. Best regards: T.S Norway. Ps: Fast shipping included,15 days from Vegas to Norway!! Thanx again'
