Stainless steel Marlinspike. Used for working ropes and knots. 

Comes untied. Tie your own Turk's Head with the included 10' of paracord (Color of included paracord may vary). 

 

If "TIE THE TURK'S HEAD KNOT FOR ME" is selected, your marlinspike will ship with the Turk's head knot tied, with the ends secured with cyanoacrylate glue. This will prevent the Turk's head from coming undone under heavy use. You will still receive 10' of cord with your order.

    This is a beautiful, smooth, machined (lathed) chunk of stainless steel, with a polished tip that won't tear your line. It's 6" long, 3 inches of that length is cylindrical, and the other three inches are conical. The tip is 1/16" thick, rounded off (hemispherical), and polished. Sure, the heft and length are important, but the tip quality is crucial and does not disappoint.

    Order was processed and arrived really quickly! The marlinspike is really well made and the point is perfect for working with the paracord I usually use. I also really enjoyed the make-it-your-own step of adding the turk's head. Definitely recommend.

    The order was processed quickly and arrived fast. Good quality heavy metal. I like the indent near the top where you can put a Turkshead or jug sling knot. Thanks for the paracord that comes with it. Good Turkshead instructions on YouTube. Happy to support your channel by purchasing this.

    I've used wooden fids, nail punches, and various other odds and ends as stand-in marlinespikes, but this is the real deal. It's beautifully machined, perfectly tapered, and a joy to use.

    I really like these. I liked it so much that I bought a second one. Once I had the second one, it was much easier to tighten down the turk's head knot on the first one. I got it so tight, the paracord is as hard as glass.
