A genuine leather sheath sized perfectly to store your Marlinspike.

This kit comes with:

• Laser cut leather- front and back panel. Belt Loop.  (Leather is approximately 2mm thick)

• Black paracord for stitching

• Razor blade to help you complete your sheath.

 

Custom engraving is available as an added option.

 

- Marlinspike not included -

 

Note: Use mild soap and water to wash off the soot from the laser cutting process before stitching your sheath with gutted paracord.

    This kit is fun to put together and very well made. A necessary addition to the marlin spike IMO. Easy to assemble from the pictures, but a video would be helpful.

    Good quality leather and nice cut out. Definitely need to clean the char off the laser cut edges before assembling. Perfect fit for the Marlin spike definitely takes a few minutes to assemble but nice when done.

    Real Leather, great quality, enjoy having to braid on my own and look at instruction tutorial. Helps too learn knots and to tie with Paracord

    This leather sheath fits perfectly the marlin spike its designed for with no slippage the marlin spike remains snuggly in its sheath even if shaken.you have the added enjoyment of putting the sheath together.

    The spike is so pointy and just long enough you can't really fit it many places, this kit makes a real decent sheath. I didn't use the melted ends to terminate the stitched paracord. I wrapped about 4" of cord down through the loops, using the spike to get it real tight. I'll then put a couple of drops of super glue and tuck the ends in. I also made it an under jacket/shirt neck loop.

    The leather is soft. The marlin spike fits nicely inside after assembly. Because of the lazer cut process, it will have a black soot that transfers to your hands while poking out the holes and it will smell like burnt leather. That will all go away in no time at all with handling. It's a good product and a great addition to the marlin spike.
