Stainless steel Marlinspike. Used for working ropes and knots. 

Comes untied. Tie your own Turk's Head with the included 10' of paracord (Color of included paracord may vary). 

 

If "TIE THE TURK'S HEAD KNOT FOR ME" is selected, your marlinspike will ship with the Turk's head knot tied, with the ends secured with cyanoacrylate glue. This will prevent the Turk's head from coming undone under heavy use. You will still receive 10' of cord with your order.

    I received the marlinspike very quickly after ordering! The packaging was well done, and it included a good amount of red paracord so I was able to make multiple attempts of tying a decorative knot on the pommel end. I wasn't satisfied with the turkshead knot as I couldn't get it to nestle into the groove, so I finally went with a three-pass inline Matthew Walker Knot. The spike is well made and a good weight and length for use with paracord. I would have liked to have a hole in the pommel for attaching a lanyard, but that's a minor thing. I guess I'll have to work something into the knot!

    Nicely tapered spike. Good weight and feel. Tip is not made super sharp to make it easier to separate paracord without stabbing yourself. Tip size is perfect 1/64” to 1/32”. The 1/2” spike will work great for my projects as I do a lot ok tight 550 paracord projects.

    Does exactly what it is meant to and does it well. Nice sharp taper and stainless steel makes it great at untying stubborn knots and no worries about rust.

    I have tons of marlinspikes, and this one is one of the best ones. Well made and stainless steel. I like the top groove to so I can add a decorative knot.

    Only had it a few days. The metal is good quality. The engraving is good looking. Paramax is just OK for knot tying.

    I BOUGHT IT BASED ON ITS PROPORTIONS & SHAPE, I.E.MIN. 1/2" BODY FOR OPENING STRANDS & "SHARP" SMOOTHED POINT FOR TIGHT PLACES. GOOD JOB.
