    Unique and brilliant.

The design is brilliant. It does exactly what it was made to do (which means that there are limitations). The grappling works better than I thought it would. Though dont think that your suddenly Indiana Jones and can swing from anything. With a little bit of aim you can get the grappling hook to hook onto a branch with a secure grip.

    Top Notch

I've always liked "gadgets" but the Gravity XS is in a class above a gadget. It performs above expectations and will be useful to retrieve dropped parts or tools which have fallen out of my reach. That happens more often than I'd like to admit on my boat. Great new tool.

    Awesome bit of kit

Posted by Jonathan Bridgstock on Jun 5th 2017

So I saw one of these on a forum dedicated to people who enjoy gadgets. I looked at a few reviews and thought "$25? lets give it a shot". It arrived and is a solidly made bit of kit. The design is amazing and the execution is pretty much perfect - the finish is good and it's very sturdy. I've been playing with it all morning and it picks up almost anything when in gravity hook mode, and the grapple is perfect for small items. My workmates have fidget cubes and fidget spinners, but I have the coolest thing out of them all. the jimping is good to run your finger over, the spring gives good feedback when played with and the entire unit has a good weight to it. Only regret is that I didn't get the dynamic duo so I could get the big one as well :)

    Fun and useful!

I saw the XS on one of those "5 multi tools you can get under $25" or some such and immediately thought it was super cool. I was astounded by what you could pick up with it. Having tested it myself, I can absolutely give it 5 stars! It won't pick up everything, as you shouldn't expect it to, but you will be surprised by the things you can pick up that you wouldn't think you could. I haven't torture tested it, as I only got one, but I'm not gentle with it, and it shows no signs of degradation. Works pretty decent as a belt, too, although that's probably not recommended. I haven't really used the grappling hook functionality for anything other than to test to see if it works, which it did. Just a bonus feature to me, really. Overall, if it looks interesting to you, I day 100% get it, you'll love it

While I got this primarily for the claw function I found myself using the grappling hook more. Great quality. Now I just have to get some Paracord

    Best key chain multi-tool

Posted by Unknown on Feb 28th 2017

I purchased this XS gravity hook at the suggestion of a former co-worker who serves as a Search and Rescue member of the Army's Phantom Unit. I use it in place of the ubiquitous carabiner and it works well for that. It so happened that I was at a public park with the children when my daughter had dropped her brother's wrench tool into the drain next to the park's perimeter. With cries and sobs, my son came running to me crying, "Daddy, my wrench is gone!" With my XS gravity hook, boot laces, and my EDC flashlight, I managed to retrieve my son's toy wrench and was promptly cheered as the "hero-of-the-day" by all who were present. Got me some extra brownie points with Mama too and that was all worth it!

It really works! It looks like a toy until you need to use it to catch something lost!
